I'm not an advanced stats guy, but WAR gets weighted kinda funny. Kevin Kiermaier is fourth in the AL with a 6.4 WAR and his OPS is .718. I can't stand when people use WAR to point to a player's worth.Advanced stat heads, can you tell me why Bogaerts is a 3.7 WAR player according to Fangraphs? Looking at his stats, he appears to be average(sub .800 OPS, average defensive metrics), I don't understand the math that makes him a very good/great player.
