Cubs fans have been saying this shyt my entire life.
How'd Kerry Wood and Mark Prior work out?Let me know the last time the cubs had 2 top 5 prospects in baseball,a top notch fo,the #1 farm in baseball, one of the best managers in baseball in your lifetime add the fact wrigley field is being renovated and a new tv deal is on the horizon to give the #3 most valuable franchise in mlb more revenue for years to come.Cubs got dough to spend and a stacked farm they will be better than the bum ass tigers who outside the last 8-9 years have sucked damn near my whole life themselves![]()

1. Chicago Cubs
Farm System Ranking in 2014: 2
2015 Top Ten Prospects: Link
Top Prospect: Addison Russell (2)
Prospects on the BP 101: 7
State of the System: Despite graduating infielders Arismendy Alcantara and Javier Baez, and mildly uninspiring years from former Top 10 prospects like C.J. Edwards and Christian Villanueva, the Cubs are the proud owner of the game’s top system. With the 2014 arrival of shortstop Addison Russell via trade, the explosive emergence of third baseman Kris Bryant, and the selection of a hit-first prospect like Kyle Schwarber, the Cubs remain absolutely loaded with impact talent. The arrival and emergence of those players doesn’t even begin to touch on the continued presence of outfielders Jorge Soler and Albert Almora, as well as quality depth of high ceiling players like Gleyber Torres, Eloy Jimenez, Carson Sands, and Mark Zagunis. The Cubs’ system is loaded to the gills with talent that could help their roster continue to improve internally, or via trade.

30. Detroit Tigers
Farm System Ranking in 2014: 27
2015 Top Ten Prospects: Link
Top Prospect: Derek Hill (98)
Prospects on the BP 101: 1
State of the System: While the Tigers continue to dominate the American League Central, and they continue to find ways to make trades for big-league talent and fill small holes at the major-league level using their minor-league system, the scouting community continues to look at the talent on the farm with a curious stare. The club’s 2014 first-round pick, Derek Hill, is the only talent truly worthy of Top 101 consideration, and other than outfielder Steven Moya, who owns a controversial profile, the Tigers system lacks talent that project as more than a fringe major leaguer. One of the few minor-league bright spots for Tiger fans may be the Tigers ongoing ability to find inexpensive international talent like Anthony Castro, Sandy Baez, Gerson Moreno, and Eduardo Jimenez that could become high-powered pitching prospects as they move up the ladder.

You mention wood and prior from 12-15 years ago.I rather talk about the present
Tigers farm is trash, they have a bloated payroll with cabrera about to arod your squad for another 10 years
Shouts to billy beane letting the cubs rape the A's for their top prospect for jeff fukkin samardizja![]()
You aren't telling me anything I don't already know. Dombrowski has been an abomination to Detroit's farm system. Even the "prospects" he's traded away have been hot garbage. You mention wood and prior from 12-15 years ago.I rather talk about the present

it'll make sense after oakland wins the WS this yearI honestly still don't understand that trade. In fact, I will never understand it.
Buston ain't doin sh*t this year cuz... your pitching staff is terry cloth...... that mean you very softI'm in the minority here but I'm happy the Sox didn't get Hamels although this post probably means we will now
There are no indications he would be good in the AL, especially the AL east (although the hitting in the division doesn't put the fear of God in anybody anymore)
He is owed a ton of money and would probably want his option picked up to come here
And we'd have to give up top prospects
Profar shoulder surgery on Monday. My Rangers fixing to make that comeback in that WestSo many injuries last season....Prince In that Hitters park
