I feel bad for Chris Sale. Dominate the league and still have hardly any wins to show for it. Pitch against the Twins and get lit up. Life aint fair.

Did you watch the game? Was there any logical reason Robin kept Sale in to finish the 7th after he got lit and was past 100 pitches?
Yeah. He sees a lot of breaking pitches for strike 1 that he just takes. I dont know if he's trying to be extra patient or is trying to see the spin of the ball but it seems like pitchers know if they get strike 1 on him, from there it's easy pickings. I think he's getting in his own head a bit trying to live up to the hype instead of focusing on just being a lead off hitter with speed for now
I didnt see the game but it was just 3-1 going into the inning and I saw there was another error or two that made it look worse than it probably was. At this point, I'm sure Ventura doesnt wanna hand it over to the bullpen when Sale starts since they've blown a couple games from him.
but now that I'm thinking about it, he left Danks in there to die on Monday night too
