Cubs weren't trading for price when they can sign him in a few months for nothing.You hoped your bum ass team could replenish the farm off the cubs sorry theo is smarter than that
Obviously not too smart if he thinks he can revive that century old cursed squad.
But the Cubs aren't going to sign Price and Sonny Gray won't be a free agent until 2020 so he isn't getting dealt anytime soon.
I mean play in a series not that 1 game play-in bullshyt...
Can't just let both Buehrle and dikkey walk, it's not easy to sign good starting pitching. At $12 mill they probably pick up dikkey's option and go with, Stroman/ Free agent or trade (Pompey or an Outfielder will have to go)/dikkey/Sanchez/Hutchinson. Could start Osuna if they miss in free agency, but will need to add to the bullpen if Sanchez & Osuna are put in the rotation.
