Traded Donaldson to the Blue Jays.

Traded Ben Zobrist to the Royals.

Traded Addison Russell to the Cubs. Then let Jason Hammel, the the guy he traded Russell for walk. And of course he signed back with the Cubs.

Billy Beane did all that in the past 16 months.
