I really dont get it. Gioloto could have gotten them someone by himself but they threw in 2 other people too.

Just seen the Eaton deal. Look, Eaton is a nice player (matter of fact, he's being undersold like crazy), but what the hell are the Nats doing? That's quite a bit for him, assuming there's not something up with Giolito (and they'd know better than anyone). There's gotta be something there, and that tells me that the Sox were smart for not trading Sale for a package built around him.

I wonder if they plan to play Eaton in CF and move Turner back to IF. Eaton is better as a corner OF, so that moves Werth to the bench, and if you're gonna do that, they might as well put Bryce in LF and Eaton in RF. That would work I guess.


Edit: Just read that Turner will probably go to SS, so Eaton in CF. Eh, I guess. Still think Eaton fits better in a corner OF spot.
