He'll be 32 at the start of the 2018 season,scott boras is his agent,he's on record saying "Aces get 6-7 years"
Arrieta is good but the cubs shouldn't invest huge dough into two 30+ pitchers they have to lock up some of the core(baez,contreras,schwarber etc)

This is what I hope and this is theo's plan but there will be plenty of comp.No guarantee they'll get him the fact he loves to hit gives all NL teams an advantage
The bay area has a big asian fanbase,Dodgers have a history of signing japanese players but theo wants this kid so I won't be surprised if he breaks him off next winter the cubs need a young ace

He lost leverage when the astros and yankees signed beltran and holliday.His market dwindled red sox aren't interested(unless they're lying),indians probably cant afford him so that leaves the rangers,blue jays or nl teams shoulda took the jays 4 years 80 mil offer
