Im not really trying to compare one of baseballs best pitchers ever to Dallas Im saying many pitchers can have success in the league with a sub 90 mph fastball.
Many?

That's not feasible, you have a smaller margin for error throwing in the mid 80s. Just look at lincecum, he was destined to the hof throwing 95 and look at him now

You have to have Maddux control to survive at that low velocity

Greg Maddux pitched 8 shutout innings, at age 40 on only 68 pitches :dahell:

Dude is easily the goat pitcher, is it even close? And when i say pitcher, I tend to mean he didn't have the stuff of a Pedro/Randy/etc

Maddux as a pure pitcher is untouchable, he's is the goat

I don't usually advocate a pitcher for MVP.... but Kershaw.... he's well on his way

pitched 240 innings last year. it probably took a toll on him. He's been falling behind hitters all year long and his walks are way up.
Unless i'm mistaken he was way better in the first half or 3/4ths of the season last year than he was in the last month or so.

He was very effective in the playoffs and beat the Yankees on a 3 hit performance.

That's a lot of innings, even bumgarner wasn't the same after pitching over 240 innings during the Giants last World Series run. It took him about 10 starts to get right
