people are underrating the dodgers I feel, their farm system is amazing...but I also dont see them going all the way this year. this is more of a transitional year for them imo. I think they make the offs, either as WC or division winner

He should have taken that ridiculous contract the Nats offered a couple years ago like @god shamgod said. His numbers have dropped for three straight seasons and he was dreadful last year. He got what he deserved.

Worried the Twins are gonna end up last in the division this year. Not buying the Cleveland hype because their pitching isn't consistent enough even though people love pumping up their rotation. I think Detroit is gonna be KC biggest competition. Their offense is gonna be really good and I think Verlander bounces back and has a good year.

Twins probably won't have May or Berrios in the rotation to start the year in place of Tommy Milone and Ricky Nolasco

Verlander was terrific last year. He got off to a rocky start because he hadn't thrown in so long, but once he settled in, he was excellent. Wins just weren't there because they never scored runs for him.

Detroit's bullpen is still a big question mark. I still can't believe they got another soft throwing closer. How the fukk are you gonna be in a division with KC's arms and trot out a closer with an average fastball velocity under 90MPH? :kobewhatever:

damn, Just saw Miguel Sano lost his daughter due to a heart defect a week after she was born last season

I think thats one thing we take for granted is how hard it must be for people to perform well when going through shyt in their personal life. Especially him being in a country not his own and probably not having much in the way of family support when that happened.

Chi Sox got Austin Jackson

Rick Hahn did an exceptional job retooling this roster this offseason without having the luxury of signing a top flight FA, losing any draft picks or getting locked into big money long term. Even the cost of Frazier on our farm system wasn't bad.

I still think we are a bat short of being taken seriously, but this should be a solid season. A LaRoche comeback season would be HUGE but I'm absolutely not counting on it.

Very good stuff this offseason. Like where we are at.
