I don't think you can say he wasn't struggling. He didnt seem to have very good command in those last two innings he pitched in. You probably gotta let him go until he gives up a hit, but if he walks the bases loaded, you aren't trying to bring a reliever in that situation. So I understand why he did it. But that's what makes baseball great. On paper it was probably the right move, but psychologically, taken out a starter who the other team hasn't gotten a hit off of probably was a big mental boost for the Giants
