Orioles ruined him. Made him change what side of the rubber he threw on, AND told their pitchers that they couldn't throw the cutter. His slider/cutter is his best pitch.

If Detroit fires Ausmus today, they need to fire Avila as well. Made no sense to bring Ausmus back and Avila is the one who fought for him when Illitch wanted him gone.

There's talk they'll try to bring Leyland back if they fire Ausmus.
