I feel ya. Carlos Gomez has looked like shyt so far.
I mean, we traded a starting outfielder for a catcher. I would hope they would have had more confidence in him taking the job if they were gonna cut bait on Hicks. Hicks isn't great at the plate by any means, but he can hit lefties and we made our defense worse by putting Sano out there while still getting no production from our catcher.
I know a lot goes into being a catcher and defense is usually the most important, but unless JRM is a huge negative on defense, I don't know why he's not getting the opportunity to be the main guy behind the plate.
