I agree I'm talking about prospects in general should be better or at least the "headliner" should be at least top 5 in a system

Francisco Mejia is #6 in the indians system and in single a that's not a bad start

Reading mets are in the mix for jay bruce

The d'Arnaud, Nimmo and another prospect for Lucroy offer was laughable and d'Arnaud has been ass this year, but I think you're underrating his hitting value as a catcher. Last year, he was their third best hitter behind Cespedes and Granderson with a 2.3 WAR (6th amongst catchers) and .825 OPS (second to Buster Posey) despite playing only 67 games. The problem with d'Arnaud has always been inability to throw out runners and stay healthy. Kind of ironic that Lucroy might be d'Arnaud ceiling's if everything works out for him. Mets can also offer Dominic Smith (1B prospect) and Thomas Szapuki (high end arm in lower levels of the minors) if they really wanted Lucroy though. Don't think the trade is going to happen. Lucroy probably ends up on the Indians or Rangers imo.

Odorizzi might be the guy Detroit is targeting. I hope they can get him without trading Norris.

I hope these clowns aren't letting games against a terrible Rays team affect their decision on what to do. :snoop:

Over 100 games should be enough to tell you this team is not a real contender.

Its not that. The closer to the deadline, the more leverage the Yankees have. A lot more teams will come into play and are more desperate to give up prospects, etc.
