They'd never do it, unless they miraculously get into the playoff hunt this year.
And even then I doubt it. Right now it's basically Mendez and Taveras and nothing else.

Gallo sucks, but at least he'd be a lefty at YS while Andujar gets ready. Really I want Mendez. If they're in the hunt, they're gonna need a closer and if nothing else, sadly the Yankees know how to churn them out. If Severino sucks they'll probably just plug him in there and take a shot with Mendez as a starter
