this is article says they were in a bind with the pen working so much/getting hit hard so they called him up for a breather for the regular guys but they still want him in the minors a certain amount of time to avoid arbitration in a couple of years

Sano hitting like this takes the sting out of Buxton flailing so much. The team leads the league in walks though which is what this team needs to do. Dozier and Sano are the only power sources

I was more worried about him not getting run support today vs giving up 5 runs in the 1st. Renteria has these boys playing well for having a mediocre squad though
