:skip: last april white sox had one of the best records in baseball along wit the cubs.Remember how that ended

Only 150 games left

that post had nothing to do with how i expect the season to end up

it certainly was something that stood out when i checked standings last night (being ahead of Indians & Cubs)

especially with Quintana, Abreu, Fraize doing nothing so far, its weird

Yea I know I'm just saying baseball records this early in the season are :yeshrug: unless a team starts off historically good/bad

Cardinals 3-9 and are in last place :ld:and they'll probably be one of the better teams in baseball by july

@FloorGeneral Eric Thames is one of the best picks I've ever made in fantasy. I never guess right on these types of players. :blessed:
Man, we let Chris Carter go, brought in Thames and Jesus Aguilar and made out like bandits. Thames has hit lefties too, plus he can play the OF, so he's gonna be in the lineup regardless. Aguilar hit like .500 in Spring Training, started the season hitting .700 and we're gonna have issues getting him regular playing time because of Thames.

Maybe.
But pump the brakes.

It takes more than hitting off a recovering Alex Cobb and doing-everything-possible-to-avoid-his-walks-problem Blake Snell.
Man, shut up. Just yesterday you were acting like Aaron Hicks is turning into something other than a bench player. :childplease:

Aaron Hicks is approaching 400 major league games. With that under his belt is conceivable that he had learned something.

He may very well turn out to be nothing more than a 4th OF. But if he has indeed turned a corner, he instantly becomes more valuable than Brett Gardner. It doesn't matter that Clint Frazier is waiting in the wings. Clint is years away and will have to adjust to the league.

You don't count your chicks before they've hatched. Lest you forget about Joba Chamberlain, Drew Henson, Cito Culver and countless other prospects.

With regard to Benintendi, he's upped his average like 100 points in 2 games off 2 struggling pitchers. Nobody said he's a bum. But let's have some patience. Even Mike Trout took a fukkin year to put it together.
