Then they got Ichiro after they had Arod.
Then they didn't have shyt to pair with Ichiro except a young Felix Hernandez.
Then Felix was dominating with a fading Ichiro.
Then they brought in Cano at the end of Felix's dominance.
And now they're bringing in Ohtani and there's still nothing around him in Seattle that would make them winners.
