I think we are primed for a Dodgers Astro’s repeat matchup :beli:

Would rather we see the Brewers just to mix it up.

As a Dodgers fan, the Astros are the team I'm most afraid of. I really wanted Dodgers/Yankees just because of the backstory and my hatred for the Yanks, but it would be bittersweet to see the Dodgers get a rematch and win against the Stros

Yankees lost to one of the two remaining best teams in baseball. Series decided in game one and three. Boston was the better team. At least, Cubs faced inferior competition and shyt the bed. Only scoring two runs in 22 innings in two play-in games and losing to the worst playoff team (Rockies.) Can't get worse than that. Yankees still better than the Cubs :umad:
You got caught. Other posters saw this. I'm not delusional enough to proclaim my team's a future dynasty and the Warriors of baseball and backtrack once they lost in embarrassing fashion for the second straight year.

One game playoff anybody can win , rockies won 2-1 in extras. That best team wins series anybody can win one game

Yankees aint better at the cubs at a damn thing except getting sonned by their rivals in embarrassing fashion, holla when they win a world series this decade they aint did nothin this dude buggin :deadmanny:

The cubs were on fumes this year with mad injuries and STILL had the most wins in the nl until game 163 they'll be right back in title contention next year like they have the last 4 years.I said weeks ago they weren't going far this season most of the team slumped bryant was injured since june :yeshrug:

Not the Cubs though. FOR TWO STRAIGHT GAMES.

Losing one game by 15 run≠ "sonned by their rivals", dumbass. Two runs in 22 innings. :mjlol Pivotal games one and three were decided by one run. It took yall over 100 years to win a flukey championship and you're talking about dynasty. :laff:

Yankees had injuries/regression from several key players throughout the ENTIRE year and played in the same division as the best regular season team in baseball. Still won 100 games. Could still sign one of either Harper or Machado and Corbin and have the assets in the farm and on the major league team to swing a trade for an elite starting pitcher. Great job by Theo signing Heyward, Darvish and Chatwood.

Already told you the cubs offense slumped in the 2nd half, if baez and rizzo weren't hitting they didn't score :yeshrug:

Your team got shytted on in 2 home games by the same rivals who sonned them after a historic collapse in 2004 if it wasn't for kimbrel being awful in he 9th that offense would of scored 2 runs in 18 innings and they got way more hitters than the cubs do, added stanton and that bum ass nikka got exposed for the overrated trash he is.Enjoy that contract along with jacoby DLsburry still finessing those fools.Gary sanchez hit .186 and was sub .300 on base and he can't block pitches for nothin, another hyped ass new york product

So did the cubs go look at contreras & bryants #'s contreras had 21 hr's and 74 rbi's 1st week of august in 2017 then got injured, look at his #'s this season

Fluky championship :duck: the cubs went 103 and 58 and had the best record in mlb,had the best offense in the nl, best pitching in mlb and defense

and went to the nlcs before and after that "flukey championship" yankees been irrelevant for years and missed the playoffs multiple times in the last 5 years fukk are you talking about :what:

Cubs Payroll Set to Soar with Potential TV Deal | FanGraphs Baseball

Money aint a thang doggie :takedat: the cubs are below the luxury tax and have like 30-40 mil coming off the books after '19 and '20.

If the cubs want machado or harper they will sign one and both players will be interested in playing here.

This version we especially don’t matchup well since our pitching is even more dangerous & Morton didn’t even see the Hill the entire division series. Only pitcher that honestly scares me on the staff believe it or not is Buehler. I saw him when his stuff is on and it’s pretty nasty, we know Kershaw is going to shyt the bed and if Robertson trots out Kenta you might as well punt that game away :mjlol:

Always liked Ausmus as a catcher. He was always prepared and called great games, don’t know if I would hire him as my manager after his Detroit stint though.
