I remember being so excited when we drafted Appel. Those were truly the Dark Ages of Astros baseball. Those terrible teams and moving to the AL nearly destroyed my love of baseball.
On the bright side, at least he seems at peace with his how his career turned out.

In this instance, I don't care if it's collusion by the owners. The players have been getting insane contracts for years and it sounds like the owners/GMs have finally smartened up.
None of the guys this year deserve some 7/$200 million contract. They should be mad at David Price, Albert Pujols, Robinson Cano, Miguel Cabrera, etc. not the owners.
