Can't believe I'm saying this, but I think the O's might really be in it to win it this year. Now by "it", I'm talking about maybe the 2nd wild card.
But still, despite their lack of impact moves 'til late, and them still trying to upgrade that historically
rotation, I think they'll surprise some people. Throughout this 5-6 year stretch of competitive ball they've relied a lot on smoke and mirrors/outright luck, so I don't see why it'll be any different this time around. Gonna be a lot of 8-5, 11-9 type games, but a W's a W.Plus, this is the last stand for this group (manager, GM, franchise SS, team leader CF, ace CL all FAs after '18), so it figures they'll be all in for one more run.
