I had a lot of confidence in the Knicks just from living nearby and seeing them a lot, but I figured the Cavs offense would be MUCH better than it has been. That's the annoying thing, the defense has been fine, even good, but our offense is just utter shyt.
Knicks have been a monster team since the all star break but their fans were just super quiet and unconfident about them until they won Game 1. I've been more hyped on their team than any Knicks fan I know around here.

Which one of you argued with me when I said they need to trade Jarrett Allen this summer? Unless Mobley comes back as a 40% three point shooter, this double-big lineup will not work in the modern NBA. There's no room for Garland and Mitchell to operate in the postseason.

Pretty sure it was me :heh:
I still contend Mobley can't (and doesn't want to) play the 5 full time, unless we change to a high pace, offensive focused team.
I'd trade Allen and get a low tier starting quality 5 but Mobley would get bodied by 2/3 of the NBA centers if he was the main anchor.

I agree but Mobley's in a weird place right now and I'd describe him as something almost nobody is anymore: a tweener.

If he bulked up too much, I think that would limit his defensive abilities and potential by making him lose some quickness. This summer's gonna be big for his development and their team. He either needs to become a knock down shooter or somebody who can effectively create offense off the dribble or in the post.

I don't know if he'll ever get a great back to the basket game, but he needs to work on his 3 and his face up game. He doesn't protect his dribble for shyt and tries to break brehs down with his dribble like he's a guard. He needs to watch some Tim Duncan film.

We're in for a soft rebuild :skip:
I miss Lauri:skip:
They are a young team but they cannot get bullied like this again :scust: . Mobley has to get bigger, Allen may have get moved and Mitchell cannot disappeared like this again. We see what Koby does this offseason to improve this squad.

good news is, is that to take that step to the next level we don't need to make any big trades or draft a a star in the second round. mobley needs to become money from 15-20 ft and hopefully progress to okoro's shooting from three of this year. not being guarded but can shoot at least 35% on uncovered threes. okoro needs to become a shooter that teams have to stay on out on the perimeter.

both can realistically achieve that over the offseason. im undecided on what they should do with caris, but regardless the bench needs to be a priority this offseason, hopefully we can get a halfway decent true sf.

Great season the growing pains is good but man we can’t be labeled as soft. That’s on coaching to me. We got a lot to work on but they gotta put the work in man. OKORO gotta learn to hit that 3 man. Mobley gotta put on some weight and continue to develop his offense game. Jared man just be a dog man MITCHELL Robinson was really killing this man.
