Lots of smoke around a Jarrett Allen trade tonight:jbhmm:
Some talk about Jonas/Murphy from the Pels, some talk about bringing in Paul George.

Getting rid of Allen is a mistake I think. People are overreacting based on the playoffs when tbh, I don't know if he's ever been there aside from this season.

He was in the playoffs with the Nets:yeshrug:

So that would've been his second playoff series. And people want to get rid of him because of that? :snoop:

Realistically, Mitchell Robinson is a bad matchup for most Centers in the East. That being said, if Mobley has a better/more consistent jump shot in that series against the Knicks, Mitchell Robinson isn't even an issue and Allen has more room to work.

The problem is Jarrett gets his shyt pushed in by every center in the East playoffs except Bam for some reason. If we were loaded with shooting I'd feel a little better about Jarrett, but even then, he's such a shyt rebounder when it counts that we'd give up a ton of extra shots to opponents. I'd rather flip Jarrett (even though we're at the low point of his value after that playoff performance) for some shooting, spacing and potentially better rebounding even if we take a defensive hit.

Okay...so you're potentially going to mess with Mobley's growth for a maybe? Because if you trade Allen, you're basically saying to the rest of the league that Mobley is going to be your Center moving forward. And to be honest, I don't think he'll ever be a great center. He's a 4.

Okay, in the East playoffs you had Bam, Robinson, Allen, Embiid, Capela, Lopez, and Claxton. Allen is getting his shyt pushed in by everyone except Bam? :wtf: :patrice: I dunno about that breh
