Someone I was talking to today tried to compare Lamar to James har_en in the postseason. Tried to argue with a straight face that the Tennessee, Kansas City, and Buffalo last year losses were on Lamar and tried insisting that Lamar was throwing for Andrews on the 4th down play even in the face of a film breakdown of him clearly throwing for Hopkins. Nobody can credibly make all those claims if they’ve watched the games and just regurgitating Lamar’s total playoff numbers with no context gives that away immediately.

What should he say in a press conference? Do fan service by going hard? The line and skill guys had issues.

Harbs could show the nightcap video during the meeting to get the point across. But when certain individuals have talent issues etc it's really pointless to really call them out direct in any field/job. Now, High level guys that are proven can gain from being called out in my opinion because you know they can elevate if focused/motivated.... if that makes sense.

It all started with the 2 holding calls

the drive went from starting at the 41 to starting at the 16

After that it looked like the coaches pretty much conceded with the plays they were calling

Simply don’t lie to us is what I’m asking for. He doesn’t need to go all Parcells or Popovich and give the guy a snarky nickname to dump on him in front of the press, but it’s like when Brian Cashman says Anthony Volpe is an elite shortstop while he’s hitting .215 with a .280 OBP. It’s an insult to our intelligence to lie this blatantly. It’s up there with Tony telling Christopher “I found him like this” in the episode “whoever did this”. At this point it’s on him for not benching a guy who never should’ve been in the starting lineup to begin with this season.

According to PFF. They were so bad that they brought Scar back in 2016 and improved to a highly respectable 11th. Remember that Denver killed Brady in the 2015 AFC title game. They hit him like 21 times. It was absurd how Miller and Ware were meeting him as.they came off the edge.
