Maybe Roman is trying to get the safeties closer to the LOS so he can throw the ball deep later.
I'm not buying into this scheme and obviously neither is the defense.
Edit: I'm guessing with the LBs and safeties having to cover the swing passes and the flats, it'll open up the middle for Andrews? If the corners start playing the flats, that might open up some spots outside the numbers unless you're playing an athletic freak of a corner that has a 40" vertical.
