This video is focusing on the Ravens drafting athletic guys over guys with size who can dominate opponents and the LOS with brute force.

One guy in the comments made a great point about the Ravens prioritizing low cost positions that are relatively cheap to fill in free agency like Safeties, Centers, Guards, Inside LB, and Tight Ends with high draft picks instead of drafting premium positions like Dline, Offensive tackle, WR, CB. He supposedly got this information from data collected by MIT, University of Chicago, Harvard and I believe a few other IV league schools.

Ravens gotta draft some game wrecking bullies. Guys that will impose their will on opponents. Until they can reset the LOS with their lineman on both sides of the ball, they're gonna continue to get bytched. It's gonna take a minimum of 2 years to solidify the offensive and defensive line.

I would say more so choire boys, the type you would approve to date your daughter....way too many nice/soft guys on the team.
I'm tired of the praying sessions on camera...we need to get off that

We need more Jalen Carter, Marcus Peters, CJ Gardner-Johnson, and George Pickens spread across different position groups.
Perhaps the Ray Rice situation had the team re-prioritize a player's character even more....I don't mind a few Jalen Carter types on the team.

copy/pasted my comment from another Ravens forum on "Why does the Ravens defense not make splash 💦 plays?"
This is the vanilla/standard on forcing turnovers on defense. I’m sure Zach Orr and Harbaugh are aware of the following details.

1) Get hands on people
Press the WRs/TEs in the first 5 yards….bumping them messes up timing, which creates late throws, sacks, and tips for picks.

2) Stop “guarding grass”
Instead of dropping to soft spots, have defenders match the routes in their area and sit on the easy throws (hitches/outs to the sideline)….that’s how corners jump passes.

3) Put Kyle Hamilton closer to the line of scrimmage
Where he has a higher probability of disrupting routes, cleaning up the run, and creating the chaos that leads to big/splash plays.

-Line him up over the slot/TE or in the box (linebacker depth) instead of 15–20 yards deep.
-Jam the TE/slot at the snap so they don’t get free releases.
-Set the edge on jet sweeps/reverses so runs can’t bounce outside.
-Sit in the short middle to jump slants and crossers on 3rd down.
-Blitz late (“green-dog”) if the RB stays in to block…potential for sacks/throwaways.

4) Hide the coverage, move late
Show two deep safeties before the snap, then roll to a different look after the snap.

5) Bring smart heat, not just more heat
Show blitz with 5 to 6 at the line, but rush 4 from unexpected spots while another defender drops under the quick slant.

If the RB stays in to block, his man blitzes…that forces panicky “hot” throws we can steal intercept.

6) Fix trips (3 WRs to one side)
Have a helper inside for the crosser and a corner ready to jump the quick throw. Don’t overload the wrong side and leave the wide side empty…match the side with more receivers.

7) Red-zone rules “jam and bracket”
No free releases near the goal line. Hit bunch sets, double the TE, and funnel routes into help…make them throw through bodies.

8) Earn long yardage by stopping the run first🎯
Use tighter fronts (more beef inside), set a hard edge, and drop a safety in vs 2-TE looks. Get them to 2nd/9 and 3rd/long so we can call the traps and disguises above.

9) Fix the “no-win” ILB situations
Don’t strand a linebacker alone vs QB + RB to the field. Let the edge defender take the RB if he releases, keep the LB free in the middle to cut routes or spy the QB.

10) Play fast…not complicated
Trim/consolidate the playbook of coverages so everyone knows exactly where the help is. Fewer calls, less confusion, better execution = fewer flags and cleaner tackles.

It’s interesting how teams experiencing the same things as the Ravens respond

Giants DC playing prevent defense…rushing 3, and dropping 8

Harbaugh, and our players would never

The Ravens claim they call people out in private. Hard to believe anything gets said because nothing changes.

This team is soft and they have a passive way of holding people accountable.

What do you all think about what's been coming out from the Baltimore Sun report?

They had 25 players, some anonymous, speaking out about the issues with the team. Most were complaining about Monken, not Orr. Unreal. That shyt don't even sound right. The defense is clearly the biggest problem with this team with the offensive line a close second.

Anyway, the players said that after the Chiefs game, they took the ping pong table, corn hole, PS5 and other toys out of the locker room. Not sure if it was the coaches or other players.

They had a players only meeting after the Chiefs game. Not a whole lot was reported about what was discussed, but let's not forget about how that injury report looked going into the Texans game, which was the next game.

They got a lot of issues with this team. :francis:

the team is full of bytch ass nikkas so I doubt any of them are calling someone out

Kyle and Roquan the only ones I can see trying to hold a teammate accountable and Roquon cant say shyt cause hes been one of the worst players on the team the last couple seasons

This team peaked in 2023 and they mentally folded like they seem to always do. Truthfully I wouldn't even bring Lamar back this season. There's a greater chance he gets hurt again than there is that we'll go on some magical run to the SB. But then again, I don't know if I trust them with a high draft pick either :scust:

Moken deserves alot of blame too but its crazy how everyone is giving Orr a pass

he must be an extremely likeable guy because its obvious hes not fit to be a DC

I dont really give a shyt about video games and shyt getting taken away

the shyt shouldve never been there in the first place

imagine playing call of duty at the facility instead of watching film

imagine pouting and going out and laying an egg against a struggling Texans teams because you're mad they took your video games away

im so ready for them to blow this team up
