Now granted, these are just the songs the Grammys chose. There’s plenty of good music out there that Gen Z are creating. They’re sadly not getting the same push as these plants (YES, PLANTS).

If you truly believe Doecchi, Sabrina Carpenter and Billie Ellish aren’t industry plants, then I have a bridge to sell you.

I would’ve given it to Billie too but like he said, it’s not saying much. None of these songs are memorable.. none. She’s the only one with an original song that is, at least, artistically done and slightly memorable.

But yeah… like a lot of us have been saying, music now is garbage. It actually might be a good time for me to seriously start back trying to make music now that I think about it. Not even white people are making good music anymore…

Not just my argument, but gatekeepers/A&R ensured a level of quality in our music. When music became more democratized, the quality went down.

Not sure if I stumbled on it here forgive me if I took this from someone, but I recently ran across an IG account @songswithoutautotune and these artists nowadays are trash, because they don't have artist development. Everyone is copying everyone and it's watering down the product. AI will only make this worse.
