Not just my argument, but gatekeepers/A&R ensured a level of quality in our music. When music became more democratized, the quality went down.

Not sure if I stumbled on it here forgive me if I took this from someone, but I recently ran across an IG account @songswithoutautotune and these artists nowadays are trash, because they don't have artist development. Everyone is copying everyone and it's watering down the product. AI will only make this worse.

Yeah, I usually stick with music from artists I know that recommend or work with other artists. That's how I find new music. Haven't listened to mainstream music since I was a kid stuck in the car or at some random party but the music sort of becomes background noise so that don't count.

Never really listened to any of the new artists in that video except Bruno Mars and 1-2 Bad Bunny songs.
