The 2026 NFL hall of fame eligibility list has been released. Who is getting in first ballot?

This is the correct answer. However, I do think there’s a chance Witten gets in first ballot. I don’t value him that way, but I can see it.

It will be an embarrassment for the Pro Football HOF if Rivers and/or Gore get in first ballot.

Even though he had a shorter career than some others at his position and he was rotting away in Cincinnati, I wouldn’t be against Geno Atkins getting in first ballot..

Rivers has a HOF resume but doesn’t have the team success. He’s the opposite of Eli.

Curtis Martin already set the precedent so Gore probably gets in eventually

Yeah I think those two are locks.

I think Witten could sneak in on some Cowboys "America's Team" bullshyt. Don't feel he's a first ballot, but he's got enough numbers he's going to get in sooner rather than later.

Rivers probably goes in when there isn't another marquee QB on the list. So he could be iced out for a few years. Cause I think Big Ben would be on the ballot in '27, Brady in '28.

I feel like Gore's gonna be one of those guys every year he doesn't get in people are going to be like damn look at his stats and his longevity and then eventually he gets in.
