*sighs* People, Chicago is not on the list because they do not report their statistics for this. They never have. They have never been anywhere on the list because they do not report any data.

I lived in Lansing for a few years and rode through Flint once or twice. Even the highway was looking ROUGH. shyt was like post-Apocalypse.
what in the fukk are you talkin about, these lists are conducted by the FBI, they dont give a fukk about you, your opinion or mine, or the city of chicago enough to not report shyt yall some simple mafukkas sometimes..it didnt make the top 25 list because its not worse than those 25 cities, whats so hard for yall to understand ??? why yall so heart broken over this ?

theres no plot here, theres no loop hole done by the government to randomly select chicago out of the list, theres no illuminati at work here..
Chicago didnt make the list, because for the past 3 years has had record low ratings in crime when compared to the past 25 years. This is something that should be congratulated. This year is worse than last year, but last year was the lowest crime in chicago in decades. Chicago went from 900 murders a year in the 90s to 400 murders a year now, and yall over here trying to say it should be on a list where these other cities havnt improved as much as chicago

From what I gather Chicago as a whole isn't incredibly dangerous. However certain places are straight up war zones. Englewood's murder rate is twice that of Detroit. Of course Englewood only has a population of about 60,000.
Keep in mind I've never been to chicago, so maybe someone else can explain this better. But I have read on the subject of murder rate/violent crime in US a bit and this is what springs as to the reason why Chicago isn't on the list.

If you listen to Tommy on the corner, he gonna tell you fairytales of the hood and youtube can make Canada look ghetto, at the end of the day this is all we gotta go off of, but im sure when I read this thread tomorrow after not seeing it for a few hours and see more insane stats and bull shyt posted

Before you get all homotional the second someone says something you think is negative about Chicago, understand what the fukk was said. Chicago does not have information submitted for these reports. The FBI does not accept their statistics. That is why they are nowhere on the list. Not top 25, not top 50, not top 200. They are completely omitted from the list. If Chicago has 500 murders, but with only 3million people, that 500 is being divided by like 30, giving it a murder rate of only 20.
Now you take somewhere like east st.louis
which has a population of like 30,000. They get 20 murders, they have to multiply it by more than 3(til the 30,000 turns into 100,000) giving it a murder rate of damn near 100.

Chicago isn't on the list because the overall population is too damn big,however the southside of Chicago is larger than most of the cities on this list and i'm pretty damn sure the crime rate in that area of Chicago would fit right along with the other cities on the list.However,this list isn't about the deadliest sections in America,so Chicago won't be on the list.nikkas have to be morons to believe New Haven CT or Cleveland is more dangerous than the southside of Chicago.
