The 3 albums that put Atlanta Hip Hop on the map all came out in 1992.

MC Shy-D & Raheem the Dream didn't impact internationally. It was these 3 that kicked the doors open for Atlanta Hip Hop and they all dropped in 1992. Prior to these albums what was coming out of Atlanta sounded like Miami bass. All 3 of these albums were major with numerous hit songs.

TLC - Ooooooohhh... On the TLC Tip

The sound was "next generation" new jack swing.

Kris Kross - Totally Krossed Out

Bubble gum east coast hip hop sound

Arrested Development - 3 Years, 5 Months and 2 Days in the Life Of...

One of the pioneers of alternative hip hop

I'd agree with these. The only thing is Left Eye is from Philly, so that's heavily incorporated into their style as well, but Ooooooh...On the TLC Tip is definitely a hip-hop album

Hip hop in Atlanta was a knock off of Miami bass before these albums dropped. It's kinda unfair to them because OutKast is OutKast but yeah
Beside the BPMs, there's no similarities between Atlanta bass and Miami bass. ATL bass was waaaaay more melodic
