pretty interesting match up. Nets give different problems for MIA cause of their wing players. Gotta see how wade looks to really make a choice, and Heatles roll players are no where near the lvl they were last year. Heat defense isnt as good as it once was either. Rio/Cole havent looked good most of the year, no Money Mike..depending on JJ and whats left of Haslem/Battier....Wild card is Beasley...

If this was last year Heat win easy in 5 but idk...going for upset Nets in 6:manny:

History unkind to Heat in regards to this series

Top stats to know: Nets vs Heat - Stats & Info Blog - ESPN
What does the history show?
Only three teams have ever won the NBA title after being swept 4-0 by a single team during the regular season—the 1988-89 Detroit Pistons(swept by the New York Knicks), the 1994-1995 Houston Rockets (swept by both the Seattle SuperSonics and Los Angeles Lakers) and the 2000-2001 Lakers (swept by the SuperSonics).

The Elias Sports Bureau notes that the Nets will be the third team that swept a defending champ to meet that champ in a postseason series. In the other two instances, the sweeper (the 1995-96 SuperSonics and 2002-2003 Spurs) beat the champ (Rockets and Lakers) and ended up advancing to the NBA Finals.

95 Rox 89 pistons and 01 lakers were all trying to go to the finals for a repeat.
I see a theme here, these teams were bored as were the heat for most of the season

Let me get this straight guys...

The Nets had the personnel to beat the Heat FOUR times in the regular season, but now they lack the talent and personnel to beat them again?

I think the Heat will win this series but some of y'all are bugging with this 4/5 game talk. Did the Heat turn into some different team that the Nets have never faced? Regular season games matter, ask Pacers, Houston, Wizards, Clippers etc. Doesn't mean the team that won the most games is gonna sweep but it just means that these games will be tough for both teams.

You realize the Bulls swept the season series and got beat in 5 in the playoffs a couple years ago right?

And this was with D.Rose as MVP and the Bulls were #1 seed in the east.

Heat in 5.

Brooklyn dont matchup good with the Heat at all.

how can people say this ? nets have some old players, but so do the heat. i expect miami to win but i dont think its going to be easy, especially with how joe johnson has been playing lately.

Nets have no bigs and thats how you beat the heat.

You not beating the Heat with your wing players. They will eventually shut that down with Lebron/battier/wade or whoever
