LOL... should play KG 30 minutes in this series, he hasn't played a ton this season. He should shorten the rotation cause MIA will feast on these different lineups

Think Kidd is anticipating/hoping for a long series and didn't want to wear out his geriatric team in game 1, especially on the heels of a 7 game series. It's exactly how he managed the regular season and dudes were calling him the WOAT after a month.

Not saying it's going to work, but I also don't think its sheer ignorance like some of you armchair coaches are suggesting.

Not that he intended to lose...just that he saw the writing on the wall once they went down 10 in 3rd, and figured he'd cut his losses.
