my deal with KD is he will flourish in situations like last night (no doubles). If he's allowed to go one on one, against players that he has an obvious mismatch he's going to shine. But if you double him, he falters because he can't pass out of double teams like a Kobe or MJ. This is what separates them, from him. He's a great player but he can't carry a team. He needs Curry because Curry prevents doubles and adds spacing for him to work.
Curry only needs KD for Bron because of Bron's physicality, If Golden State was playing against any other team, they'd have no use for KD. KD's length and offensive ability neutralizes Bron's physical offensive presence for Golden State. That's why they got him. This is why in the short term KD will get props but in the long run, Curry will be seen & rightfully known as The Main Man at Golden State, because he built it from the ground up.
