2005-2006 Kobe Bryant had probably one of the best seasons in NBA history. Dude was robbed of the NBA MVP to Steve Nash. To be honest Steve Nash did his thang that year also. It should’ve been co-MVPs that year.

2005-2006/ 80 gms./ ppg. 35.4/ 4.5 apg./ 5.3 rpg.

12/12/2005 43 points vs. Mavericks

8 days later; 12/20/2005 62 points vs. Mavericks *sat out the entire 4th quarter* :pacspit: Phil Jackson hating azz took him out the game

01/22/2006 81 points vs. Raptors / In front of Chris Bosh flaming ass

30-39 points game= 29times
40-49 points game= 21times
50 or more points game= 5times

After looking at Kobe’s 2005-2006 stats; This nikka was busting everybody ass with this below sorry ass lineup:

Sasha Vujacic
Kobe Bryant
Aaron McKie
William "Smush" Parker
Devin Green
Jim Jackson
Von Wafer
Laron Profit
Luke Walton
Devean George
Lamar Odom
Brian Cook
Ronny Turiaf
Stanislav Medvedenko
Kwame Brown
Chris Mihm
Andrew Bynum

This nikka dragged a lottery team to the playoff. I remember fukking ESPN was hating on Kobe, talking about he was shooting too much. I recall for about two seasons 2005-2006 and 2006-2007, that nikka Kobe would pass that bytch to either Luke Walton or any one of them sorry nikkas, and they would brick that hoe.

They won 45 games. You can't win that award without having one of the best records in the league and winning at least 50 no matter what stats you put up. The first time Kobe lead his team to one of the best records in the league he actually won the award

i hate MVP rules. When i look at his resume, the only thing that's missing is multiple MVP awards.

You take Kobe off that specific team, and they winning 5 games. I hate that they announce the MVP winner damn near in the third round of the playoffs.

I was watching NBATV last night after seeing T-Mac torch my Gilbert Arenas Wizards in 2004 :to:

The 81 point game I never watched in its entirety but man, its crazy how bad that Lakers team was. Kobe needed to score all those points just to win :wow: I remember back in 2006, I was in 11th grade and that morning we went to class and ESPN was on the TV in the classroom and I just stared at the ticker in disbelief. 81 points??? Insane.

Makes me miss the Kobe that wore #8, brings back memories from the younger days when all you did as a kid was watch triple headers on Saturday/Sundays of the NBA

I remember reading the box score on ESPN, like wow at that typo...sad part is, those points were needed just to beat that bum ass squad...its hard for me to even watch the performance, it takes me back to a dark period as a Laker fan :(

I remember I was in college, and I got off work, made it home, and rolling up some good. ESPN did a brief teaser about Kobe's game. Then reporter said, Kobe scored 81 points. A nikka had that  with the blunt hanging from my lip.

no i'm saying those numbers he put up weren't out of this world....so he shouldn't be seen as a lock thus the MVP was never stolen from him, considering his team sucked

Did anyone in here mention David Robinsons 71 point game? That was pretty impressive...seeing he didnt take all those uncontested 3's like Kobe. Its more comparable to Wilt to me.
