Would you give up Murray for Kemba?
Hell muthafukking no and I like Kemba. If you keep Murray instead of going hard after Kyrie why the heck would you part with him for Kemba. Especially after the huge games he’s had this season. Murray has shown he has that clutch gene. He brings a confidence that’s been missing. Son has heart. He plays with an edge. When his streaky shooting points north there’s a different energy about these Nuggets. In the pecking order of value to the team I got him after Jokic and Harris and before Millsap. I dare say he’s untouchable. He’s apart of that high-key core that is the Nuggets’ future.

Malone forced to go small after the Plumlee injury and the offense looks great. I hope he sticks with the current starting until Millsap eventually returns. I never understood why he insisted on playing the Jokic-Plumlee frontcourt. What a pointless experiment

That shyt aint an experiment breh that crazy motherfukker actually believes thats Denvers best lineup.

As for this thread OP Ima have to rep you for this shyt but if youre a Nuggets fan like meyou know how its gonna go in May:russ:. Id much rather watch the Nuggets play the Warriors or Rockets than the Spurs in the playoffs though. Those games would be fun to watch at least, Spurs are just a massacre waiting to happen

You can’t understand the disappointment. First, we trade Nurkic for him. Then we see Nurkic become a much better player. For us, Plumlee is ok. I think we see who he is: an athletic big who can pass, rebound, jump, and raise the occasional eyebrow. His potential is limited though. If there’s a future for him, it’s as a complimentary role player. If he stays for the low, cool. If he walks, cool. After all, we have a million big men. Do we really really need him?? So, how do we handle it? We throw bags of money at him even if it seems no other team has a heck of a lot of interest in him. Now I think we’re forced to play him because we’re paying him so much. And his contract is untradeable because nobody wants to pay a guy with that skill set and that ceiling that much money. He’s cool to have on the team but that money could have been spent elsewhere.

The nuggets are going to be lethal next year if everyone stays healthy and be in the WCFs one day

The three best players are 23 and younger

I got trading for Plumlee, Nurk a beast but hes a drama queen. That extension was :scust: though. I hope Denver lets Barton walk tbh I cant see a scenario where he stays without being overpaid

I understood why they were ready to part with Nurk too and I could understand wanting to see how Plumlee could fit. I just didn’t get throwing the first rounder. Should’ve been straight up. At any rate, I think they saw enough last season to know Plumlee was alright but he wasn’t great for this team. But for whatever reason they wanted to throw piles of cash at him when nobody else in the league was going to comeback close to what we ended up paying him.

As for Barton, he gone. He deserve that bag. Man is instant offense off of the bench. He’s a sparkplug who has willed us to many victories. The Nuggets should’ve saved that money they spent on Plumlee and threw some at Barton to convince him to stay. I mean they could’ve kept Donovan Mitchell to fill that Barton role but they inexplicably traded him to the Jazz and we’ve all seen how that turned out. Only reason there hasn’t been a mutiny over that is due to Lyles being a breath of fresh air.

Mutumbo was the difference maker in that series back then
No question. He was awesome. He’s probably a top-5 Nugget for me.

I’m just saying that IF, and I know it’s a big one, Denver were to be matched up against a GSW or the Rockets or Spurs Jokic would have to have a huge impact in order to compete in a 7-game series. He would have to take his game to another level.

Can't disagree with that

it would be a good 8 v 1
winning is denver is always hard for some weird ass reason
It's not weird at all. It's the elevation (Mile High City) in that gym, plus teams are often traveling from a different time zone before coming to play against the Nuggets anyway. In a playoff series though that advantage pretty much goes out of the window.

Regular season vs the playoffs...barring injury it's still gonna be 4-1.
Reg seas vs playoffs doesnt mean much in this case because the Warriors have never shown that postseason switch that Bron teams and others have. Actually Golden State has been generally better in the regular season during their run.

There’s only a few guys in the league I’m trading Murray for at this point. His potential is through the roof. 30+ in 3 Of The last 7 games. 20-4-4 in his last 21 games, shooting close to 50/40/90. Honestly, everyone wanting him traded for a win-now player reminds me of when everyone wanted GS to trade steph for a vet that fit better with monta Ellis.
