Ye the whole idea was to show the cops that they weren't against them, that they were protesting for EVERYONE including the cops because cops are just blue collar workers, trying to feed their families.
It looks like the people in charge of this #DemocracySpring thing are related to 99Rise, which sprung out of the Los Angeles chapter of OWS.
If these people are half as corny as the OWS protesters, they'll get nowhere. Hopefully, they're more serious.
