Well you see what happened 6 months after Pac got merked. :ohhh:

Nicca died out West...Puff could have prevented that...but guess what..:martin:

"When my men bust/you just/move with such stamina/
Slugs missedcha/I aint mad atcha"

nicca was shot 8 days later after that line was said on a Los Angeles radio station...

Big was gonna get killed regardless if he did that show in LA or not. He shouldn't have been there to begin with.

To add, the contract is online..it really wasnt that bad a deal..Pac got everything he wanted put in..the issue was when it came time to pay up what they ( Deathrow ) owed..Afeni said the last few weeks of his life was him threatening to audit Deathrow to get a accounting of what was owed to him

I guess it wasn't too bad.. But he was selling himself short with the advance and royalty offer he put down. He was also selling his publishing way too cheap.

Afeni can say what she wants, but it's been nearly 20 years and she still hasn't shown an actual copy of this so-called "letter" which allegedly fires Kenner (not a big deal anyway) and whatnot, yet they present pretty much everything else that supports their anti-DR claims and his shopping lists. He probably wanted to request an audit from Death Row as his contract was nearly ready for renegotiation and wanted to try and get his business together and in order, thus finding out what money he was owed at the same time.

Now, whether Suge intended to pay Pac the amount of money he was actually owed is another matter (he was DEFINITELY owed money), and one we'll never know for certain. But even if Pac had confronted or questioned Death Row about his financial situation, they would have no clue what was what due to their own books being completely messed up, which is probably why they never put one together.

What? 2Pac's contract with Death Row was a joke... He was selling himself short with the advance and royalty offer he put down. He was also selling his publishing way too cheap.

I have no doubt in my mind that 2Pac was owed some money by Death Row (just like literally everyone on the label), I mean he shouldn't have been allegedly paying for Michel'le's porsche, someone's child-support payments, etc. out of his own pocket, but at the same time he was being taken care of by Suge and was running up huge bills on Death Row and was receiving advances and money whenever he asked.

Now, whether Suge intended to pay Pac the amount of money he was actually owed is another matter, and one we'll never know for certain.
Eh thats cool and all..but Im just going off what I read...Everything he asked for got put in with no objection from 2pac or Deathrow...the contract wasn't a bad contract..and even if it was..its not like 2pac had any power in the negotiations...they were bailing him out when his image was toxic and he was all but left for dead..Im sure he wouldve took anything they gave him..but the problem wasnt with the contracts deathrow were giving out..it was the accounting for royalties and monies owed which was the issue for 2pac,Snoop,Dogg Pound and other artist on the label..once 2pac sold 6 million copies by August of 96 he had the power to go back and renegotiate his deal which Im sure he started wondering where the money he was owed was at...Im not going disrespect the man moms..I wasnt there at that point in time and neither were you...if she says he was threatening to audit deathrow and the last weeks of his life was him trying to get a accounting of the money owed to him then it is what it is..

Royalties generally take several months to be paid, All Eyez on Me hadn't been out for too long at the time. His royalties from that album were only just going to start appearing around the of his death. Just because he sold 6 million copies of an album released in February doesn't mean he should get millions in June/July; that's not how it works. He was due a large immediate payment from AEOM which he nevr received though... He was also entitled to an advance of $5,000,000 once he turned in the Makaveli album due to the AEOM sales.

We'll never know for certain if Suge actually intended to pay Pac the amount of money he due to receive, that will forever be speculation.

I agree, 2Pac was desperate to get out and just signed what came his way, but he was selling himself short.

Pac my nikka, but he did seem like a "sure thing, boss" type of nikka for Suge

"Nobody respects a man who don't do for himself. I'm a soldier; so I'm here on Death Row to put my time into this army. It's not like they got me out of jail and now I gotta do for them. It's that they believed in me, so I believe in this company when no one else will. When people said this was played out. I'm breathin' into it. I don't give a fukk if I don't get along with anybody else on the label. This is for Death Row. When it comes to the point when I feel it can stand on its own, I will move on. But me and Suge wil always do business together, forever."

Thta's basically what it was right there.I don't think Pac would ever break his alliance with Suge.He was an honorary member of Mob Piru/made man by that point.

I think it was to negate the enemies he made on the east coast.Niccaz like Jimmy Henchmen & Jacque Agnant.

I think he was just showing loyalty to not only Suge, but the niccaz behind Suge up(Mob Piru).

I think with Pac being born into a "gang like" sect(Panthers), he understood & truly appreciated the comradery of gangs, but he was more in love with the idea of turning that power into something productive.

And I think Suge saw that in Pac.Which is why he said he didn't need anybody on the label, but Pac.

Pac brought a certain level of intelligence/pedigree/vision/ and organizational skills(That he learned from his mom.She was married to the regional director of the Panthers Lumumba Shakur..NY division) that Suge had never seen before.

I think him and Suge could've been a powerful tandem. Two niccaz that wasn't scared to do what the fukk they wanted. They just got sidetracked by the beefs.Niccaz was young, man
