The first one was ok and this one looks ok... I mean it could end up being better than average but right now I'm a little indifferent to this series. It's not "bad" there just isn't anything that I'm seeing yet that is hyping me up.

Not a fan of the first one, mostly because they went and spend a whole hour on his origin again. Also, they brought all the bad stuff from the Raimi movies with them (the ridiculous NY/USA patriotism, the constant unmasking) but none of the charm.

Spider-Man 3 was always supposed to have three villains, those being Lizard, James Franco's New Goblin, and Sand-Man. The reason t didn't work is because Sony literally FORCED Sam Raimi to include Venom instead of Lizard. Raimi was never a fan of Venom

Nah the main villains were originally supposed to be Sandman, Vulture and Harry. Sandman and Vulture would be cellmates and Sandman would escape prison, get his powers end up breaking the vulture out who would manipulate him into helping get revenge on Spiderman who put him in jail and caused him to lose his company. Harry would still do his thing. None of the symbiote stuff was meant to be in the movie.

They forced Raimi to put the whole symbiote stuff and venom in when the film was already in production , so Raimi then just gave no fukks, should have just left the man to do his thing after he had produced to good spiderman movies beforehand.
