Hedge funds know they're about to pay through the nose. That's why they've been pushing Clov and Wendy's for pump N dumps to get some quick money and maybe pull some folks away from AMC/GME.
They just want to delay as long as possible knowing people will get antsy.

When AMC has it's shareholder meeting on June 29th, they'll reveal the number of shares belonging to users that voted. That number won't exceed the official float but if that number matches the official float that will be significant in and of itself.
