What I dont get is amc and gme have no chance of bankruptcy and going out of business at this point. Which is what the shorters were hoping for. They have tons of money now. So what is the end game for these hedges? They have to cover eventually and you're not gonna get it to where you bought at to break even

The endgame now is they’re looking for a bailout of some sort

Their still making a lot of money on options. Probably not as much as they're paying. But they dont get to decide when to throw in the towel. The government does at this point. That's why they trying to get these rules in place. The last and most important is on 6/21/21.
