To me this is the truth. No matter what what occurs day to day, no matter what media says. Nothing happens until the Government (SEC) steps in. If they don’t step in this will continue.
this is what all of this comes down to. No matter what day to day hype I receive to remain interested. Nothing will occur until the SEC does what they should have done already.

What do you all mean buy the SEC stepping in. Step in and do what?
I do not own any shares of AMC.
This is a stock that is heavily manipulated by wall street, so the ups and downs that you see on the stock exchange mean nothing. Only when the SEC stops the manipulation of this stock we will see change.
This is a side note, but the people on reddit are insane, and if you guys post info from there please have sources to back up whatever information you post. Don't post shyt from some random pakistani guy.
Rules are being bent and flat out ignored. It's going to take some enforcement for this not to be a perpetual can kick.
It's almost like no one wants to tell hedgies that time is up so they just keep passing laws to close loopholes. Its like the drunk gambler at the casino running up a tab. It's been good for business but at some point it's no longer beneficial for all involved. "Go ahead and cash out. You can save face or save your ass, your choice."

SEC will change/enforce rules to prevent this from happening in the future.
But the squeeze will play out naturally. Shorts will start to cover for whatever reason then there will be a stampede of Fomo both from investors and shorts.

It would be nice to know information like this but we just don't know when they are going to step in.

Like the smaller HFs unable to keep up with the new $250K margin requirements? Y’all think the big HFs will get their backs by picking up that tab to not cause a domino effect? Not sure how that works.
I think the only way they can stop FOMO is when the stock price is up like $5K pre market. Preventing regular folk to hop on the bandwagon.

Yeah it will start with some of the smaller positions being closed.
Maybe cause margin requirements, maybe they are just taking a bit of profit or accepting a small loss. Then we get some gamma squeeze action. A wave a buy ins from retail and it snowballs from there.
We’ve seen it play out already. Look how many eyes are on the stock. It’s literally the most watched stock in the world. All of that is potential buying pressure. The people that wanted to get in during the last run up but felt they missed it. All the people who sold, will buy back in.
Buying pressure fizzled out before some of the larger short positions were tripped last time around. Another big run is another big shot at those shorts.
People waiting for the gov or sec to step in are missing what the play is even about.
We didn’t need the SEC to make it this far.
