A lot of the streamers are like fukking roaches, but they can't do anything else thatll make as much money. You got DSP begging for $150 a day while his parents are dying on the other side of the country.
No retirement tours for social media stars. No classic movies or song to make residuals off of. Nobody going back to watch your greatests hits.
All them need to save their money because eventually they will stop earning, and end up like Mc Hammer

I had to make that decision a few months ago.

he's more of a movie guy and was never even really a gamer like that...but he needs to make a living so
You working a dead end job making $40K a year and you can do something that can make you $120K or so a year why wouldn't you? Obviously the problem is you streaming all day and that's not a marketable or useful skill. You've pulled yourself out of the work force for 15+ years doing that and it dries up you're DSP stuck clinging to the dying embers because it's not like you can hop back into the work force. You can't build a resume having not worked in over a decade.
DSP was a fool. I stopped following him long ago but I remember he had a condo in Connecticut that wasn't paid off then bought a 2nd condo in Washington state and was paying both and he moved some young chick he met online out there with him. She ended up leaving him then he moved some other chick in there with him and these girls were either not working at all or working dead in retail entry level type jobs.

DSP was clearing well over 120 at his peak but that was before the market was flooded. He probably makes something around that now.
He moved a 19 year old in when he was roughly 30. She had a nervous breakdown (inevitable regularly dealing with Phil) and then after that he moved in some autistic chick that he eventually married. His wife's now pushing 250-300 pounds.
His wife and his gf both had/have part time jobs but I think it's primarily so they don't ask him for money.
Phil's biggest issue is he's not good at anything and he's not informed about anything. His only skill is showing up. Nothing Phul is involved in improves and things only get worse. He's going to be begging until he's dead.
