It's pretty amazing watching dwights career go from 2011. All that firing your coach whining and bullshytting, turning from nba's funny man to one of the most disrespected nba players ever lol. He was playing for a smaller market team, all of a sudden he went to the lakers and then rockets his whole shyt got exposed, and you can have a bad back problems but put some respeck on your game. I don't think people are knocking Moreyball. Golden State was near the bottom of the league in shots attempted between 5-19 feet, so they live by the philosophy of lay-ups and threes.

Morey picked up players with some of the worst skillsets for his strategy, which is why he deserves to get shyt on.

I use it as a tool."

"Say if you're thinking about acquiring Ron Artest," Morey said from Hawaii, where he was evaluating talent in person at the Maui Classic college tournament.

"On the game, you can see how adding Artest can change the dynamic of your team. You can program it to run offensive sets with Artest and any combination of your players."

Not even worth detailing all the tragicomic moments of the Morey era at this point. The team is too lame to even deserve that. They barely snuck into the playoffs when 3 of the teams fighting for those final spots were decimated by injuries. They got blown out in consecutive playoff games without the league MVP touching the court. I don't have adequate words to describe how disgraceful this team is, top to bottom.

Morey did a horrible job of hiring personnel. Even this years free agent: Lawson didn't fit the team. They would have benefitted from hiring a PG that can defend and shoot 3s more than distribute. McHale isn't the right coach for the job yet resigned him. Honestly even his draft picks have been terrible, especially Royce White, Dekker, & Dorsey.

Basically.

Close shots and 3s are the best shots in basketball. The former because it's the most efficient and the latter provides 1.5x more value compared to other shots. But they abused the 3pt without having the personnel to do so.

On the one hand...fukk no...he can get paid in free agency and he hates the players on that team...

On the other hand...I think Houston only has 3 players they can absolutely keep...harden because they can't find a replacement for what he does...Cappella cause he is a young cheap big man who can get a lot better...Beverly because dude is a dog defensively and he can get under ANYBODY skin...he even got under lil eggshell skin in this series...

Maybe Beasely but that depends on if you think he really turned his life around and the Beasely you got in houston is the real beasely...or if the rockets were so dysfunctional and pathetic that even Beasely could come onto this team and look like the most sane player on it...

So if they trade away all the players that hate him...other than Harden... maybe he stays

At any rate I can't wait for this off season for no other reason than Mr. I got a math equation that equal championship is going to have to do more work to build a good team quickly than anybody else has had to do in the last few years...
