Offline sports gaming is basically dead, and every game tries to funnel you into the pay to win "competitive modes."

I don't feel like there's been any real player innovation in years, outside of new ways to do micro transactions.

Im just sick of the same old formulas. Open world game. Have to craft shyt. Travel here and there. Ride a horse for 10 minutes. Watch a 5 minute cut scene. Etc.

What happened to just letting you play a game man. I appreciate the effort put into these big budget releases but God damn it sometimes feels like I ain't playing shyt.

sometimes, i just want a 3D castlevania with no need to explain why a castle's interior is that complicated. just pure gameplay
