Yo @Ciggavelli , i just bought a Xbox 1S and for some reason i cant get it to stream 4k. Saying my TV isn't compatible because it cant do 50Mhz? I just bought my TV this past Christmas, so i new as hell! My receiver is about 4 years old though, but it supposed to be able to do 4K upscaling according to the sticker on the damn thing. What gives?

you doing hdmi 2.0? not all sets have hdmi 2.0 on every input, but you should have at least one. check your manual

No, I'm going straight to my TV. My guess is that your receiver is to blame. Is the connection from your receiver to your tv hdmi 2.0? You can still do 4K with HDMI 1.0, but it's only 30hz. Might be time to upgrade, unfortunately

4 years ago is a long time in the TV world (I don't even know if hdmi 2.0 was out then). It probably just does hdmi 1.0 at 4K 30hz. I didn't know you needed 60hz for the X1S to work, but apparently you do

Xbox1 is a far better set top box, multimedia device, and now 4K streamer and 4K Blue ray player than a pc.

Again, i know the fact the Xbox one outclasses the PS4 in functionality makes you sick. Get over it.

Go and enjoy your supposed "10800p PS Home experience"...

I would try going directly to the TV to see if the receiver is the issue
