24 years later and Chrono Trigger STILL got the JRPG crown.
Wasn't even intending on starting another playthrough yesterday, just wanted to test out RetroArch on my Shield TV before I chose another game at random. 3 and a half hours later, I'm about to go to 1000 AD in Medina Village
What this game has in spades over most other JRPGs is great pacing. You hit the ground running but it never feels rushed.
Perfect balance...it's not hard at all but you'll get caught slipping if you think it's easy mode.
Don't even need to bring up the soundtrack and the characters.....a true classic

Just installed a popular trading application (ThinkOrSwim) on my Chromebook. Took a bit of time to find a workaround but it feels great not having to remote into my Desktop computer anymore.
Been a great gaming year for me, one for the books
Got into playing Smash Bros competitively, Fire Emblem and Outer Worlds were both huge bangers for me, plus I get to step into next-gen with Stadia next week, not to mention Pokemon this Friday
even family night has been taken to new heights with the likes of Mario Party and getting try a ton of indies with the kid on GamePass.
Been a good year so far
