I went to take my PS2 out of the closet today to play SvR 2006 & HCTP and the shyt wouldn't even read discs anymore.

I started looking for PS2 slim prices and... Amazon charging up to like $200+ like Jesus... I just went on eBay and found one near me for $80. I just wished I checked my system before buying MK Deception (got it for $14).

Can your PC run the PS2 emulator? It can be an good alternative, if the PS2 stopped working or if the disc can't be read no more.

You know what I never thought about PC b/c I rarely be on it unless I have to print out documents or handle certain business. Like I said before I found one today on eBay for like $80. I rarely play my PS2 unless I get bored with playing current gen at the time.

I'll keep the PC thing in mind.

I ended up getting this.

I'm going to get a Brooks ps4 to Xbox one converter.

This shyt right here...I have to come back and say that I feel like I got over on the company I got this from. This is way better than the two Hori arcade sticks I've bought in my lifetime. I was playing the PS5 version of Guilty Gear Strive and shyt had me feeling like I was in EVO brehs. . I did get Persona 4 Arena Ultimax for the PS4 to play on the PS5 and I was moving like Neo in the Matrix and shyt. I can't recommend this enough. It'll set you back two bills but quality? Yeah, this is where its at. I've ordered my converter so I'm going to get it popping with Kings of Fighters XV on the XSX soon with this.

you can download an NES emulator and the SMB3 rom and probably be playing it within minutes if you have ANY computer or do you want the nostalgia angle?

Not unless the emulator can emulate that crt screen look? Kind of like how you can emulate the arcade look when playing street fighter?

there was an old site I used to download NES, SNES and genesis roms…I doubt it’s still around…google should yield some results or folks on here can probably point you in the right direction
