Not really an indie gamer, but I picked up this retro basketball game, and have been having fun using the 1990 and 2004 Pistons beat up on the 2020 Lebron Lakers and the 2017 Warriors. No player or team licensing, but they do a well enough job for you to know which teams and players are who. There seems to be a team editor, so its only a matter of time before someone uploads the legit rosters.

I realized why I don't buy or play fighting games anymore. It's just an ongoing GAAS.

The last game that I bought was Guilty Gear Strive. Between the time I bought it and now, there has been 5 season passes.

I'm not about that life.

I find the analysis spot on. All the games ive sunk HUNDREDS of hours into over the past year are made in Europe or Asia, and NONE of them are price-gougey types. The rot here in the west runs deep and affects everything. Its sad really, but a reality check is BEEN needed
