One of the greatest reggae musicians of all time. Responsible for so many classics. Discovered people like Hugh Mundell, worked with Jacob Miller early in his career as well. Been listening to a lot of Roots Reggae classics lately and reading the liner notes made me realize that all these musicians in Jamaica at the time were like one giant band. They're ALL over each others projects. Go to discogs and find out how many classics this man has been a part of. Same goes for people like Earl Chinna Smith, Sly & Robbie, Family Man, Carlton Barrett, Leroy "Horsemouth" Wallace, etc. This thread is about Augustus Pablo though. Share some of your favorite work by him.

Essential albums to check out if you haven't heard of him:
King Tubby Meets Rockers Uptown
East of the River Nile
Original Rockers
Africa Must Be Free By 1983 (Hugh Mundell album)
Who Say Jah No Dread (Jacob Miller album)
Time & Place (Hugh Mundell album)
