$91.7k excluding bonus and share options if I translate to USD.

Perspective is crazy. I look at my salary as just "okay" :manny: especially cause I know my boss is probably on 2x that, nevermind his boss and the boss after that etc. but I haven't even seen my 30th birthday and I'm probably already in the top 10 - 15% earners in my country and already above the supposed average in the US.

Where she get $45k?:dwillhuh: There's several sources that claims $67k is the medium household income.

Edit: read that all wrong. $45k sounds low as hell. What's the breakdown?:picard:

Many households have more than one person working. Millions of people wouldn’t be able to afford rent if they didn’t have roommates or their significant other or family members working and paying rent too.

$45k goes further in flyover country, but jobs pay less there as well. People still working for $10 an hour and less in middle America. But the working class definitely still busting their ass for $45k or less even in the more expensive metro areas and cities. How much you think the Amazon delivery drivers are making who delivers in your neighborhood? They make $16-20 an hour. Much less than UPS drivers. And that’s not including all the people who make significantly less on average in food service, grocery stores, retail, warehousing etc.

But it’s relative because $100k don’t go that far in DC, NYC, LA or the Bay either. $100k is barely getting by for a single person in these cities and metro areas. Y’all $100k millionaires be so proud to work 80 hours a week and have one day off a week and still live paycheck to paycheck. :feedme:

I made that post sharing that thread about city data posters view on rent regulation. Them out of touch boomers really think it’s entitlement to not want to hop city to city to afford a place to stay and think that it’s ok for a grown man past 40 to live with roommates. Lmao.

Don’t get me wrong I do think there is some entitlement with working class middle class people but we are at a point where we can’t even buy a 1,000 sq ft house

Dude at this point me and my wife are probably just gonna get a tiny house in a tiny house community in our city and call it a day. Gonna be too hard to come up with the down payment on a full home so we just gonna have to live like people in past eras in a small crib. But on the other hand since it's like 20-25k for a quality one I don't think it's a bad buy, but I just hate the fact we are practically FORCED to do that at this point.

And you know I should find some data and make a thread on the quality of houses and apartments people trying to sell and rent, it should be illegal for people to jack up prices with out appropriate expenses coming with that. How df does my rent go up 3-500$ and I don't at least get some fukking free food every month and legitimate cleaning service.

I do know in NY if a landlord ups your rent by a lot of money he is legally suppose to update the apartment to that rent amount he is charging.

And yea bro I won’t lie I saw a 700 sq ft 1 bedroom condo for like 180K in the upstate counties and I literally was tempted
